Tank wall welding
The tank wall shall be welded longitudinally before circumferential welding. Welding shall be conducted in the same direction. If gas electric vertical welding is adopted for vertical welds, the welding shall be conducted from bottom to top, and automatic submerged arc welding shall be adopted for butt circumferential welds. The welding machines must be evenly distributed and the welding direction must be consistent. The heat distribution is uniform to prevent cracks caused by stress.
Welding top plate
Internal and external welding methods shall be adopted for the welding of fixed roof. The radial long weld shall be symmetrically welded from the middle to the outer section. In the process of welding the roof and cladding angle steel, the same welder shall be symmetrically distributed and evenly back welded in sections. In order to reduce the welding deformation, it is necessary to arrange the welding sequence reasonably, especially using the skip welding method for a short time of welding operation, which can largely avoid the stress caused by uneven cooling of the weld. In the welding process, if the welding speed can be reasonably controlled, the cooling time can be relatively consistent, so that the weld can be heated evenly, so that the temperature difference of the metal plate will be reduced, and the probability of deformation will be reduced.
